Enemies in the camp

Agencies including ZenithOptimedia and VCCP took tables at Twickenham to wish the England World Cup squad all the best before it heads off to New Zealand to reclaim the Webb Ellis Cup.

Probably. While the RFU has been through some turmoil recently, the fact that someone decided to include a tight T-shirt donated by George Michael in the night's auction and enlist David Walliams in a film giving the team his support suggests that there may well be an enemy in the, erm, camp. Guests also got a sneak preview of VCCP's new O2 spot in support of the team. While a masterpiece, it included the centre Riki Flutey (who failed to make the cut), so required some last-minute editing.

Pearl & Dean's Kathryn Jacob was disappointed not to win a day for her son to run out as England mascot, but VCCP did triumph in the raffle. The prize of a limited-edition England Rugby TAG Heuer watch was won by its strategic planner Rob Dougan. Who is Australian.
