Energy Saving Trust calls ad review

LONDON - The Energy Saving Trust has kicked off a review of its advertising account and has shortlisted three agencies to pitch for the business.

DDB, Mother and Miles Calcraft Briginshaw Duffy have been lined up to compete for the account in a pitch handled by COI.

Mustoes, the incumbent, will not repitch. The agency has handled the account since 2005, when it landed the business following a pitch against Euro RSCG London, DFGW and the previous incumbent, Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe/Y&R, which had held the account for five years.

The successful agency will be briefed to produce campaigns aimed at raising awareness of the body as a source of information on how homeowners can reduce their carbon emissions.

The ads, which will be targeted at the over-25s, will also seek to drive traffic to the Energy Saving Trust website and call centre.

The successful agency will work alongside the trust's direct marketing agency Tullo Marshall Warren to deliver the campaigns.
