Entire retains Tourism Ireland DM account

Tourism Ireland has retained Entire as its direct marketing agency for the next three years.

The Bristol-based agency beat WDMP, Spinnaker, Lida and Dig for Fire to the account, in a pitch conducted by the AAR.

The win is the second time that Entire has retained the Tourism Ireland account.

It was first appointed to the business in 2001, and was then re-appointed after a pitch in 2004, beating Liquid Communications, HHM and DLKW Dialogue.

Entire will handle both the on and offline below-the-line communications for the tourism board for at least the next three years, with the option to extend the contract for an extra year.

The agency has created a number of campaigns for Tourism Ireland in the past seven years.

Most recently in March, it launched a direct marketing campaign to coincide with St Patrick’s Day, which encouraged UK citizens to visit Ireland on a short break.

The campaign incorporated direct mail, email, inserts and experiential activity, working along the premise that everyone who visits Ireland will be able to come back with a story to tell.
