Euro RSCG Wnek Gosper has appointed Vicki Jacobs, a 27-year-old
account director at the agency, to the post of new-business
director.
Jacobs, who was responsible for Euro’s controversial Commission for
Racial Equality poster campaign, joined the agency three-and-a-half
years ago from Bates Dorland. Since then she has worked on Jacob’s
Bakery, Bass, Haagen-Dazs and Procter & Gamble as well as the CRE
account.
Joe Boyd was new-business director at Euro until May, when he left to
join DMB&B as head of client services. The post has been vacant since
then.
Brett Gosper, chief executive of Euro RSCG, said: ’After an amazingly
successful new-business run, we have been busy digesting and servicing
our wins, so new business has not been top of the agenda. But nearly a
year on, we are ready to up the ante again and go out looking for new
accounts.
’Vicki is one of the brightest and best of our generation so it makes
perfect sense to promote her to this high-profile position where she can
broaden her experience.’
The agency has also made two other promotions. Jean Louis Roche, the
29-year-old account director for Airbus and Eurofighter, has been
promoted to the board and Mat Freer, 25, has been promoted to account
director on Cadbury.
