Euro RSCG Wnek Gosper has scooped a multi-million pound

pan-European campaign which aims to raise the profile of the

conglomerate, United Technologies.

The dollars 24 billion corporation owns some of the world’s biggest

international organisations, such as Otis Elevators, which supplies the

London Underground, the Eiffel Tower and the Vatican; Sikorsky, which

supplies helicopters to the Queen, and the aerospace products company,

Hamilton Sunstrand, which made the space suits for the Apollo 11

inaugural moon landing in 1969.

United Technologies aims to raise the profile of the parent brand across

Europe to improve its share price and make it easier to acquire other

businesses.

The campaign will run initially in business press and on television in

the UK, France and Germany, but is expected to roll out to other parts

of Europe.

United Technologies has a total of 1,900 offices in 183 countries.

The work, which is being co-ordinated out of London, breaks in

September. However, a PR campaign by Biss Lancaster will break this

week.

Euro RSCG Corporate, based in Paris, will work on the account with its

sister agencies in the UK.

Paul Uhart, the vice-chairman of Euro RSCG Wnek Gosper, said: ’We have

already produced very successful corporate campaigns for clients such as

Airbus and Vivendi, so this, coupled with the strength of our network,

has helped us to secure this exciting piece of business.’
