Euro RSCG to expand health operation by buying Money Syner

Euro RSCG is set to double the size of its healthcare operation in the UK with the acquisition of Money Syner Communications, the country's largest independent healthcare agency.

The merger will create what Euro RSCG claims will be the biggest healthcare advertising specialist in Britain.

Money Syner is being assimilated into Euro RSCG Life, the network's health division, to form Euro RSCG Life MSC.

The merged operation will have a staff of more than 20 and a client list that includes GlaxoSmithKline, Merck Sharp & Dohme, Novartis, Roche and Schering Plough.

Ron Pantello, the chief executive of Euro RSCG Life Worldwide, said Money Syner's blue-chip client base, much of which was already shared with Euro RSCG, would make the division instantly more competitive in growing existing business and securing new global clients.

John Syner, the founder and managing director of Money Syner, said that being part of the Euro RSCG Life network would allow the agency to increase its offerings while creating opportunities to be part of broader, globally focused assignments.
