Euro RSCG Wnek Gosper has been appointed to create a dollars 7 million (pounds 4.75 million) launch advertising campaign for Netscalibur, a knowledge-based telecoms company offering internet communication services to businesses across Europe. CIA has won the media account.
The campaign will be developed in Euro RSCG's London, Italian and German offices as part of a dollars 15 million marketing initiative to build Netscalibur's brand in its three main European markets: the UK, Germany and Italy.
The advertising, creative, media and publishing businesses will be a key target for the company. Netscalibur claims these industries have yet to feel the full benefit of online efficiencies, despite being early adopters of technology.
Francesco Caio, the chief executive of Netscalibur, said: 'Netscalibur is delighted to have CIA and Euro RSCG on the team. They will bring a valuable combination of creativity and experience to Netscalibur's campaign.'
The brand consultant Wolff Olins developed the company's identity. Netscalibur's services include secure web hosting, virus-free messaging and high-speed connectivity.
With a financial backing of dollars 235 million, Netscalibur has acquired four companies in the UK, Italy and Germany, which will operate under a single brand.
Across Europe, Netscalibur has 10,000 business customers and employs 350 people. It had a revenue base of dollars 40 million in 2000.
