The Daily Telegraph has won a pounds 750,000 multimedia deal with
online betting company Eurobet and is to be the exclusive media promoter
of the Royal Military 2000 show.
The Eurobet deal represents The Telegraph’s biggest cross-media business
win and involves all Telegraph brands, including Electronic
As well as display ads in the paper, the package includes sponsorship of
the newspaper’s Euro 2000 football supplement. An interactive game and
microsite that will run on ET during the tournament will also be
Eurobet is also sponsoring The Daily Telegraph’s Fantasy Cricket League
which launched on 31 March and will run throughout the summer.
To coincide with the European Champions’ League final, The Sunday
Telegraph will run a competition with a prize of a place in the
Eurobet-PFA Golf Tournament.
The exclusive promotion of Royal Military 2000 show is another large
deal with an undisclosed fee. It includes the sponsorship of two 16-page
Telegraph supplements to run on 1 July and 10 July.
The supplements, which will include a competition, will be republished
online with links to the RMT 2000 website. Other sponsors of the show
are Amey, Naafi and Bae Systems. Each will have a page of advertising in
RMT 2000 runs from 10-15 July at Horse Guards Parade in London and
promises to be a high-tech extravaganza, celebrating ’1,000 years of the
defence of the realm.’
