Eurostar pushes its image beyond the functional with a playful ad inspired by New Wave cinema.
It is the first spot both created and produced by production company Somesuch, which pitched against two agencies for the project. Cinematographer Robbie Ryan shot the ad in 4:3 aspect ratio, as used in the early days of film. The spot follows the adventures of a young traveller and his companions as he encourages viewers to be more open to new experiences. It was created by Somesuch founding partner Tim Nash and Kim Gehrig, who also directed the film.
