Evans Hunt Scott has unveiled a national poster campaign for
British Gas Services, the largest central heating installer and
maintainer in Great Britain.
The campaign breaks this week and will run nationally until Christmas.
It promotes the reliability of British Gas’s Three Star Service Cover,
which provides breakdown cover for central heating systems. The posters
continue the theme that EHS began through direct mail in 1996.
The four executions feature radiators in the shape of a heart, a purse,
a telephone and a Christmas tree with the line: ’Our breakdown cover
saves the day every day.’ Each execution carries the Three Star Service
Cover telephone number.
EHS has also created three 96-sheet special-build posters to appear in
Glasgow, Manchester and Southampton on the Christmas theme.
Terry Hunt, executive creative director at EHS, said: ’It’s already a
successful creative treatment in conventional direct response media; now
we’re extending it.’
The ads were written by Viv Luxford and art directed by Sally Elms.
