Evans Hunt Scott and Real Time merge

LONDON - The new media agency, Real Time Studio has merged with direct marketing agency, Evans Hunt Scott.

The new media agency, Real Time Studio has merged with direct marketing agency, Evans Hunt Scott.

The merger will take effect from 3 July and see the creation of a new company, called ehs:realtime.

The deal offers Real Time's existing clients a direct marketing service through EHS, while allowing it a direct route to approach EHS's clients for new media work.

Phil Jones, managing director at Real Time, will become vice chairman of the newly formed company. He said, "Agencies like ours that have built their names on their creative and technological expertise and marketing thinking need a broader client offering, which includes planning, data analysis and segmentation."

Evans Hunt Scott's managing director Louise Wall will become MD of the new company. EHS's clients include British Gas, BMW and Tesco, for which it created and developed the Tesco Clubcard.

The merger involves no redundancies and pulls together Real Time's 105 staff with Evans Hunt Scott's 170 staff.
