Describing 2014 as its most successful to date, EventOracle ended its calendar and financial year with a positive balance sheet for the first time in the company’s history.
Established in 2010 by Tom Lloyd Owen and Buzzy Randall, the company offers a range of services.
This year’s awards judges were impressed with canapes presented, including oyster and nori tempura with yuzu dressing and lamb merguez sausage wrapped in bread with a coriander aioli.
Last year saw the company achieve its key performance indicators, including increasing gross profit on food by 10% and reducing company overheads by the same percentage.
This was achieved through the hire of a new head chef to help tighten recipe specifications and reduce food waste, while additional clients led to the creation of a new role, that of business development manager.
Event highlights throughout 2014 included providing afternoon tea for 1,700 guests, including Her Majesty The Queen, at Windsor Castle, and catering for 5,000 at a pop-up restaurant for LAPADA’s Art and Antiques Fair.
Highly commended: Eden Caterers
