The event will take place at the Ham Yard Hotel, London, from 14–16 May. It is set to feature a curated film series alongside discussions exploring the role of fashion in American films over three decades.
Michael Kors and Hollywood actresses Kate Hudson, Rene Russo and Ali MacGraw will be taking part in a panel discussion on the opening night. International social editor at Vanity Fair, Elizabeth Saltzman, will be leading the conversation, which will focus on the relationship between style and fashion in American cinema.
The talk will be followed by a screening of Hollywood-classic Love Story, starring MacGraw. On 15 and 16 May there will be a screening of Almost Famous, featuring Hudson and The Thomas Crown Affair, starring Russo.
Joana Granero, founder of Fashion & Cinema, said: "We were thinking about the theme of who really defines American Style, for a Fashion & Cinema series this year.
"We approached Michael Kors to be a guest curator, as he is obviously one of the most relevant US brands right now who encapsulates the kind of effortless, glamorous style that defines American fashion and, of course, his designs for Rene Russo in the Thomas Crown Affair are the perfect example."
