Sunday Best has been designed to promote McCain’s new frozen roast potato offering. Created in collaboration with culinary entertainment group The Robin Collective, the experience takes guests through four themed areas corresponding to the four seasons.
The first – spring – features a large, warm gravy fountain, which visitors can dip their potatoes into. They can also sample the Molecular Roast Dinner Salad, which features lettuce, cabbage, a mini Yorkshire pudding, McCain roast potatoes and molecular condiments.
Potato barbeques and ice creams are on the menu in summer. The latter comprises of sausage and roast potato served in a cone with either cranberry sauce or gravy drizzled on top.
Guests are presented with a Halloween-themed autumn zone downstairs, complete with a floor strewn with newly fallen leaves. Here, an Aromatic Roast Dinner is on offer, which requires diners to inhale a vapour through straws to taste the flavours of a roast dinner.
The experience ends with Christmas: a dish of pulled Turkey, Brussels sprouts and, of course, roast potato, to be enjoyed in a dining room decorated for the festive season.
