Mariachi trio Beato Burrito performed first, with a medley of Mexican-flavoured hits such as Teenage Kicks, Wonderful Tonight and Achy Breaky Heart. The band’s singer made it out into the audience of event profs to serenade one lucky delegate.

The Spitfire Sisters, another trio known for their close harmonies, dressed in 1940s style military only to strip down to vintage style polka dot dresses as they performed. Their set featured classic wartime favourites combined with interpretations of modern hits such as Meghan Trainor’s All About That Bass.

The winner was decided via an audience poll on Event360’s Sli.do app.

The trio will go on to perform at October’s Event Awards, which will be held at the Eventim Apollo.
