ExxonMobil appoints Euro RSCG to $40m account

NEW YORK - ExxonMobil has appointed the Havas-owned Euro RSCG Worldwide to its estimated $40m account after a pitch.

The agency won the business after going up against: incumbent Interpublic Group's TM Advertising, Irving Texas; Interpublic's agency McCann Erickson, New York; and Publicis Groupe's Leo Burnett.

Interpublic's FCB roster shop DDB New York were eliminated at an earlier stage.

In the UK, ExxonMobil operate as Esso and its most recent activity was handled by DDB London.
