- Fallon McElligott has announced that Laurel Cutler, one of the world's leading strategies and futurists, has joined the agency's board of directors.
Cutler, heralded as "Madison Avenue's most powerful woman" by Inc Magazine, is the first board member to be appointed by Fallon McElligott from outside the agency.
She is only woman ever to be honoured as the advertising industry's "Man of the year" in 1995 by the American Jewish Committee, following directly in the footsteps of Martin Puris and Allen Rosenshine.
In a career spanning 50 years Cutler has worked at some of the US's largest advertising agencies. For the past eight years Cutler was a director of True North Communications, the parent company of Foote, Cone Belding where she was previously a member of the management board and executive vice president as well as global director of marketing planning, and vice chairman of FCB/Leber Katz Partners.
Before FCB/Leber Katz Partners Cutler was senior vp creative director of McCann-Erickson.
