agency’s official launch in October.

Andy Jex and Rob Potts join Fallons from BMP DDB next month. They have

worked at BMP for more than six months, where they were originally taken

on by Richard Flintham and Andy McLeod, now the creative partners at

Fallons.

McLeod said: ’We don’t want to be seen as raiding our alma mater, which

is why we spent so much time looking at other books. But in the end we

always compared them to Rob and Andy’s.’

Jex and Potts left Watford College in 1997 and worked at a number of

agencies on placement before landing the job at BMP. Most recently they

were at Mother, where they wrote one of the ads in the latest

Batchelor’s Supernoodles campaign which features a father blaming his

baby for ruining its mother’s clean shirt.

At McCann-Erickson, they created an ad for Durex featuring twin sisters

sensing each others’ pleasure. They also did stints at Saatchi &

Saatchi, Banks Hoggins O’Shea and FCB.

Jex said: ’We never dreamed that we’d get a job at BMP. We thought the

placement was just a springboard to a job elsewhere.

Then, when we got a job here, we thought we’d never want to move.

’Fallons is a brilliant US agency but it is because of Richard and Andy

that we are going.’
