Fashion Revolution "Who made my clothes?" by Futerra

The not-for-profit body Fashion Revolution presents a bold challenge to shoppers as part of Fashion Revolution Week (23-29 April), which marks the fifth anniversary of the Rana Plaza factory collapse in Bangladesh.

The tragedy killed 1,138 people, and the organisation wants to keep this top of mind through an edgy film directed by MJ Delaney. The young filmmaker behind the 2016 remake of the Spice Girls’ Wannabee video for the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals brings that same defiant tone to "Who made my clothes?" The ad by Futerra shows factory workers from around the world participating in a rhythmic, mesmerising dance, ending with a haunting question for anyone who buys fast fashion.
