Feel Films hires TV comedy director

Feel Films has signed Matt Lipsey, the director of the second series of the Bafta Award-winning BBC comedy Little Britain, for commercials representation.

Lipsey has spent the year in Australia filming the BBC and Fox TV co-production Supernova, and will join Feel Films later this month.

A graduate of the Royal College of Art, Lipsey began his career as a music-video director at Limelight. He moved into television comedy, where his directorial credits included The Armstrong & Miller Show, Human Remains, This is Dom Joly and Catterick, starring Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer.

He was previously represented for commercials by the now-defunct production company H3O, where he directed ads for clients including Heinz, Talk Talk and Flora.

Stuart Wrigglesworth, the Feel Films head of commercials, said: "Matt is at the top of his game and I am extremely pleased he has achieved all the success he deserves. He is a producer's and agency's dream ticket."

Feel Films' roster of directors includes Annabel Jankel, John Stephenson and Peter Richardson. Founded by its managing director, Nick Hirschkorn, the company produces both commercials and feature films.
