For those not clued up on their clean eating trends, cold pressed juices are where the drink has undergone no heating during the production process, therefore keeping in the maximum number of nutrients.

Independent juice bar Press aims to give busy Londoners the goodness of fresh fruit and vegetables in a quick and easy format. The business began selling from a vintage bath tub in Old Street Underground station, and now has six premises in locations including St Paul’s, Broadgate Circle and Soho. Drinks in the range include Greenhouse 1, which features kale, spinach, romaine, cucumber, celery, apple and lemon, and Orchard 1, which is made with apple, strawberry, lemon and mint.

Roots and Bulbs

This organic range features eight different varieties, under the categories: greens, carrot and seasonal. Its G1 drink features cucumber, celery, spinach, lemon, ginger and spice, while its S1 juice is made with pear alfalfa, cucumber, chillies, kiwi and lemon. The business has worked with a number of big brands for events, including Nike, Jimmy Choo and Clinique, with its juices available to buy at four London locations – two of its own in South Kensington and Marylebone, and also from Daniel Galvin and 1Rebel stores.

Crude Juice

Producing raw organic cold-pressed juices, this company delivers direct to London homes and businesses. It also offers one- to six-day detox plans, which have been designed by qualified nutritionists. Crude Juice has a range of six juice boxes, including The Green One Box, and a Tasting Box. The Green One juice features spinach, swiss chard, apple, parsley and mint among other ingredients, while Crude Carrot features carrot, apple, celery, cinnamon and ginger.

Lab Organic

The Covent Garden based firm aims to serve the highest quality, most nutrient-rich, organic, cold-pressed fruit and veggie juices. Its range includes Wellness juice – which is made with carrot, broccoli, apple, celery, beetroot and kiwi, while Glow juice contains carrot, orange, grapefruit, pineapple, lemon and turmeric. Lab Organic has two shops, in Neal Street, and Fenchurch Street, and offers free delivery to a number of London postcodes.

Raw Press

Raw Press offers a nine-strong range of raw cold-pressed juices. Examples include Citrus, which is made with grapefruit, orange, apple, lemon, lime and thyme, and Almond Milk, featuring almonds, coconut water, dates, Himalayan Salt and vanilla bean. It sells its juices from its café at fashion retailer Wolf & Badger in Mayfair and from its outlet at the same retailer in Notting Hill, and delivers to a range of central London postcodes.
