Lucky Chip Burgers & Wine

Ben Denner, the brains behind Lucky Chip Burgers will open the doors to his first permanent restaurant, the 70-cover Lucky Chip Burgers & Wine in London’s Dalston on 22 January.

The venue will serve Denner's famous burgers such as the Kevin Bacon, Royale with Cheese and El Chappo along with accompanying ‘lucky chips’. They will form part of a more extensive menu comprising small and large plates, such as 54-day aged rib-eye steak with peppercorn sauce and Aussie favourite chicken parmigiana. Diners will be able to peruse a wine list comprising more than 100 varieties; meanwhile vintage-bottled bourbons and ryes as well as cocktails will also be on offer.

The restaurant will be available to book for large groups on a case-by-case basis.

While not a restaurant in the traditional sense, Street Feast's Dinerama in Shoreditch is ideal for lovers of street food, and it re-opens for business today (14 January), with a new enclosed space to protect patrons from the elements.

This time around it is playing host to the likes of taco and tostada specialists Breddos Tacos, mini burger producers Slider Bar, Yum Bun, which serves up Asian pork, duck and even tofu buns, as well as brisket aficionados, Smokestak. The street food market can be hired out completely, hosting 1,000 people, and also features individual areas available for hire.

Breakfast dishes include pastries, truffled eggs and omelettes, meanwhile the lunch, dinner and afternoon offering spans everything from burgers and steak to shepherd’s pie and scones.

It is connected to business members club Kensington Pavilion, which offers private office suites as well as meeting spaces, the latter of which can accommodate between 30 and 40 people.
