Fjord hires Hoffmann for business development director role

LONDON - Digital design consultancy Fjord has appointed Joachim Hoffmann to the position of business development director.

Hoffman joins from Yahoo! Connected Life, where he served a two and a half year stint as European business development officer, working across the Yahoo! portfolio.

Before joining Yahoo!, Hoffmann worked in global sales at digital consultancy Mediabricks. He was also director of mobile commerce at Motorola and led the team that developed the first mobile commerce phone.

Chris Liu, managing director at Fjord, said: "Joachim has extensive experience and a great network of contacts within mobile space. We look forward to leveraging this, taking Fjord forward in our mission to simplify digital complexity."

Hoffmann said: "Fjord has a proven track record in pushing the boundaries of digital design and mobile convergence.
