Ford appoints Dentsu in Japan

- Ford has continued its global agency shake-up, appointing Dentsu as its lead agency in Japan following a five way pitch.

The business had previously been split between Dentsu, J.Walter Thompson and Ogilvy & Mather. The two losing agencies, however, will continue to be retained by the automotive giant.

The review in Japan concludes a busy period of global reviews in both Europe and South America as well as Japan. Earlier this week CampaignLive reported on Ford's decision to make no change to the handling of its South American business, which remains split between JWT and Young and Rubicam.
