Ford creates its own virtual cityscape to promote the brand's new Kuga model.
The ad begins as a man called Michael embarks on an "electrifying" AI experience, in which he cruises down the coast in a Ford Kuga. Things take a turn as his AI drive becomes an eight-bit gaming experience in which Michael is tasked with collecting Ford logos. It ends as he glides through Inception-style cityscapes and terrains.
The work was created by Jeannette Bohné, Rod Henriques and Vlad Tarziu, and directed by Daniel Warwick through Zauberberg.
Ford launched an ad last month, "Heartbeat", which depicted the brand’s vans as the red blood cells of the economy.
