Fox appoints The Ingram Partnership to European task

LONDON - The Ingram Partnership has been appointed by Twentieth Century Fox, which was behind the recent 'I, Robot' and next year's 'Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith', as its European strategic media adviser.

The Ingram Partnership will advise the company's European regional offices on strategic media issues and on title-by-title communications plans for forthcoming releases, which also include 'Alien Vs. Predator' and 'Elektra', which stars Jennifer Garner from the TV series 'Alias' reprising her role from the 2003 movie 'Daredevil'.

It will not, however, take on media buying responsibility -- this will remain with those agencies in the individual Fox territories. In the UK, Starcom MediaVest handles the Fox account.

TIP has experience of the film market -- it already handles the global communications brief for Lucasfilm, the company founded by George Lucas and responsible for the 'Star Wars' films.
