The activation aims to encourage Britons to overcome their shyness at singing Christmas carols, with the brand giving customers the chance to win a range of Christmas gifts and prizes, including a pizza on the house, in return for performing festive songs at their table.
The activation launched yesterday (19 December) and is also taking place today (20 December). Rather than being judged on talent, performers will be awarded for their festive cheer. Songs available include 'Away in a Manger' and 'Silent Night', with gifts ranging from a complimentary glass of wine to a free meal.
Last month, supermarket brand Lidl unveiled a pop-up restaurant in Spain. Also in November, Bookatable launched a musical menus festival.
