French Connection's spring/summer 2016 collection revives the style of the 90s - the decade when the fashion brand was at the height of its powers, thanks to Trevor Beattie's FCUK slogan.
The poster campaign was created in-house and photographed by Harley Weir. The executions feature, among others, the models Coco Kate and Wilson Oryema, the singer/songwriter Will Heard and the artist Conie Vallese. They are inspired by publications that championed the Cool Britannia movement, such as The Face, and iconic fashion moments from the decade, such as the sequin dress worn by Kelly Macdonald in Trainspotting. Maria Chen, French Connection’s new womenswear director, was the creative director on the campaign.
