French snow and surf clothing brand decides to go Naked

Naked Communications has picked up another strategic media planning brief to develop and implement a communications strategy for Oxbow, a French clothing brand.

Oxbow, pitched at a snowboarding and surfing clientele, is seeking to widen its reach beyond France into the rest of the world. Naked has been charged with developing the growth of the brand outside
traditional marketing routes.

The brief, won after a pitch against an undisclosed rival agency, includes organising bespoke events to promote the brand to its target audience, working closely with creative agency Curio, which was awarded the £5m global account earlier this year.

Naked, set up last year by partners Will Collin, John Harlow and Jon Wilkins, has also recently picked up media strategy briefs from Batchelor's, ONdigital, Costa Coffee and M&S Financial Services.
