The FT has teamed up with Intuit, makers of the Quicken personal

finance package, to provide a personal finance resource within its

site.

It features news, analysis and commentary on saving and borrowing,

investment, mortgages, tax and pensions.

Presumably, this is all aimed not at your financier-type, FT-reader

stereotype, but at us plebs who need help with our personal finance

decision-making. The problem is that it’s a bit intimidating for these

people, with a huge list of information to get through. Personally, I

didn’t understand a word of it, which probably accounts for me being so

poor.
