Earlier in the week Future Publishing announced it had paid £2.5m to acquire PC Zone and Computer & Video Games magazines and the computerandvideogames.com website from Dennis Publishing.
Plus only last week the publishing house announced the launch of a new women's consumer magazine, HairStyle & Beauty, which will target the competitive 20- to 40-year-old market.
The new magazine will focus on papercraft, card and gift making and target 35 to 55 year-old–women. It is due to hit newsstands on September 14.
The monthly title draws inspiration from its sister title, Cross Stitcher, by creating an inclusive and interactive feel to its pages, allowing readers to sublit stories, letters, diaries and penfriend listings.
Debora Bradley, from Cross Stitch Collection magazine is editor and Katherine Raderecht is group publisher.
