GALLERY 09: Corona - Vancouver

Mexico's biggest export has adopted an international approach to refresh its image globally. Cultural stereotypes from different cities are cleverly subverted. In 'Vancouver', director Kiko Guerrero captures an interrupted woodland idyll with style and subtlety. The Mountie's peaceful ride in the forest abruptly changes as the Corona beer lorry drives by, whereupon he gets out his lasso and becomes a rodeo star. Other spots include San Francisco trams and a Venetian gondolier, with the locals acting in a typically Mexican fashion until the Corona is no longer in sight.
