GALLERY 09: Rennie - Hey!

Groundbreaking work that moves Rennie away from the traditional doctor's diagram style ads for indigestion tablets. A heavy dose of irony encourages people to wear their Rennies as a badge of honour that signals a fast track lifestyle. The ad is set in the 80's, which are chosen to symbolise excessive consumerism. Styling was done by Wallpaper to achieve a modern 80's retro look, including an 80's version of former boxer Chris Eubank. Irony slips into surrealism in the final scene as the playboy Rennie user eats a leg of ham while waterskiing.
