GALLERY 15: Coca-Cola/NFL/ESPN - The Fan

Feature film writer/director Albert Brooks (The Muse, Defending Your Life) tells a tale of an American Football fanatic who tries to get into the big game without a ticket. The creatives felt that filming in the style of a silent film would add to the humour but that retaining a modern setting would ensure it remained contemporary. Brooks achieved authenticity by shooting on a vintage 1930s hand-cranked camera, hence the irregular speeds and flicker on the image.
