GALLERY 18: BBC4 - Shelley, McEwan

BBC Four is the BBC's new channel dedicated to arts and culture and its promotional campaign - a series of three commercials - proves suitably high-brow. 'McEwan' is a visually striking and ominous piece which uses double exposure to juxtapose images of the landscape with images inside author Ian McEwan's head. Note also the creative sound design. 'Mary Shelley' is an equally haunting evocation of a writer's mind, and likewise captures the viewer's attention whenever it appears on screen.
