GALLERY 18: BTAA Awards - Best New Director - Tom Carty

Carty left his perch at the creative department of AMV.BBDO to direct through Gorgeous Enterprises. His career in advertising began in the mailroom of the agency at 16 and by 19 he was a copywriter and rapidly working his way to the top. His whirlwind directorial career, which launched once joining Gorgeous' roster, has won him various awards at Cannes and at the Creative Circle, including a Gold for most promising beginner for Nike's 'Tailgating' and Silver for best film art directrion for MTV's 'Eggcentric'. He has also directed a promo for the Travis single, 'Flowers in the Window'.
