GALLERY 28: Freeserve - Free Sammy Nelson

Freeserve's latest ad is a departure from its previous campaign (by the same agency), which was a little more serious and earnest. Copywriter Jerry Gallaher explained that the brief was to express the freedom that Freeserve's package offers its users with its unmetered internet access and the agency felt that total freedom was best expressed by nudity. Without the strategically placed text, this ad certainly wouldn't have made it to air, and the use of old wrinklies as well as younger people in the nudist camp emphasises the universality of the brand.
