Phonesites is running a four-week advertising campaign for computer
game retailer Gameplay on payphone sites across the Manchester and
The campaign consists of 3,500 sites. Each payphone is equipped with a
’hot button’ which, when pressed, enables customers to register their
interest and receive a catalogue of games.
The facility also allows users to receive games on their release date.
Anyone who requests a catalogue is automatically entered into a
competition with the prize of a trip to New York.
The hot button facility enables the company to obtain a spontaneous
response and to build up a database of potential customers.
Phonesites’ account manager on the project is Janet Stansfield and the
sales manager is Matt Wilshire.
