Gay titles expand online

LONDON - Publisher Millivres Prowler is extending its online activity with the launch of a digital version of Gay Times and the relaunch of the Pink Paper website.

Among the developments on www.pinkpaper.com are the "Your Pink Paper" section, where readers can comment on stories and submit their own news, plus a revamped jobs section.

There is also a section called wiki.pinkpaper.com, which aims to be a Wikipedia resource for gay and lesbian people.

Tris Reid-Smith, editor of the Pink Paper, said the website relaunch was the biggest digital project the paper or its parent company has undertaken to date.

The Pink Paper is distributed weekly, with a print run of 44,000 copies. Owner Millivres Prowler also publishes Diva and AXM magazines.

Meanwhile, Millivres Prowler has launched a digital version of its monthly magazine Gay Times. Subscribers will be e-mailed a link to the allow them to read a replication of the print magazine online. The first issue is available free, through Zinio.
