GGT has won the pounds 2 million task of launching BAA’s Heathrow
Express, the 15-minute high-speed rail link between Heathrow Airport and
Paddington, which opens in June.
Heathrow Express drew up a shortlist of six agencies after an initial
tender attracted 62 replies. GGT - which won the business after a final
three-way pitch against BMP4 and M&C Saatchi - is charged with creating
press, radio and TV work.
Jeremy Job, the marketing director for Heathrow Express, said: ’GGT came
out the strongest in terms of understanding our business.’ The brief is
to build awareness and encourage trial of the service.
GGT pitched with Booth Lockett Makin, which will handle media. Black Cat
has won the below-the-line brief.
