Great North Eastern Railway is calling a review of its advertising in a statutory review intended to develop a strong communications strategy for the brand.
Court Burkitt currently handles brand work for first class and business travel for the business. The agency will be applying to repitch for the business. Leeds-based Charles Walls handles the day to day tactical ad for leisure and price-led advertising.
GNER has indicated it is willing to make a significant investment to support the new campaign, which will comprise above and below-the-line activity.
The new work will start in October and will run for a year, with two further year options available to extend the contract.
