Gocompare.com "Nothing quite compares to Gocompare"

Gocompare.com resurrected its opera-singing mascot in July after a two-year hiatus with a triumphant and soulful reworking of the brand's theme song.

But now Gio Compario is back doing what got him voted the most annoying advertising mascot of the past 15 years – popping up to solve people’s insurance problems with some jaunty warbling. The new ads feature aristocracy, film clichés and biker gangs – and, in addition to ramming the Gocompare mnemonic into people’s heads, aim to explain the site’s wide range of services. The work was created by Chris and Siân Wilkins, and directed by Graham Rose through PI Film Network.
