Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe has already poached one of Campaign’s

1999 Faces to Watch, Neil Goodlad, who joins the agency’s six-strong

planning department next month.

Goodlad, 26, is leaving TBWA GGT Simons Palmer to pursue his career at

Rainey Kelly, where he will work primarily on the agency’s Scottish

Courage and News International business.

Goodlad, who joined Simons Palmer Denton Clemmow & Johnson in April

1996, before the merger with TBWA, said: ’I felt it was time for a

change and this was too good an opportunity to miss. Rainey Kelly is a

well-respected agency and it is going places. It is an opportunity to

work with a new culture and new people in a smaller agency.’

MT Rainey, a partner at Rainey Kelly, said: ’I have had my eye on him

for a couple of years and I am delighted that he is joining us. We

approached him at the right time - we are growing fast and have a lot to

offer him. Being Scottish doesn’t hurt either.’

Rainey Kelly has also hired another Campaign Face to Watch, Katy Davis,

an account executive. She joins from Ammirati Puris Lintas where she

started as a graduate trainee in autumn 1997 and worked on Rover.

As a Face to Watch, Davis was praised by her APL bosses for her

’enthusiasm and passion’. On the first stage of the IPA’s Seven Stages

training programme, her working group received the highest marks for its

presentation and strategy. She also got an individual gong for being the

best presenter.
