Broomfield, who has joined Gorgeous for worldwide representation, created groundbreaking documentaries such as Aileen - Life of a Serial Killer, Biggie and Tupac and Kurt and Courtney.
His trademark style sees him regularly appear in shot and making his own observations on his subject. More recently he has ditched the documentary format to concentrate on current-affairs-driven narrative cinema.
His most recent film, Battle for Haditha, is based on the war in Iraq, and specifically the events of 19 November 2005, when US Marines shot dead 24 civilians in retaliation to a bomb attack. It was released in the UK this month.
Broomfield's only previous foray into commercials came in 1999, when he directed the "Passat - German for details" series of Volkswagen ads for DDB London.
