- Granada Media interactive, the online advertising division of Granada, has brokered a commercial partnership between Granada and digital publisher 365 Corporation.
The multi-million pound deal will generate new revenues for both parties and extend the relationship between Granada and 365. The original partnership centred on the creation by 365 of the ITV Rugby World Cup website in 1999 and the subsequent ITV Six Nations website earlier this year. The fully integrated multi-media package, starting immediately, runs until May 2001.
The partnership will provide extensive site profile and banner advertising coverage for 365's content and services across both web-based and on-air Granada properties, such as on ITV-F1.com.
It will also feature on-air television advertising alongside the ITV-F1.com URL on Granada Sky Broadcasting. 365 will provide dedicated editorial content for GMi sites, including football and Formula 1.
Furthermore 365, with its strong audiotext experience and skills, will manage interactive telecom services for a number of Granada programme and promotional opportunities to be broadcast across the ITV network.
