The agency won the account following a pitch against undisclosed agencies. The pitch process was managed by COI on behalf of the University for Industry, the organisation behind Learndirect.
Learndirect Business aims to improve employer and employee skills by providing a range of online courses and learning programmes to both small and large businesses.
Grand Union will be responsible for digital strategy and creative development of Learndirect Business online campaigns. The aim is to position the e-learning facility as a resolution to the UK skills shortage.
Justine Poole, the Learndirect Business marketing manager, said: "Digital is now such a key element of our marketing mix that we need an agency with expertise in this area."
