Greenpeace UK "Ocean of the future" by Ogilvy UK

A group of schoolchildren excitedly queue for an aquarium to see an "Ocean of the future" exhibition, but no colourful marine life is waiting for them.

In place of penguins, octopus and catfish the kids find loads of plastic rubbish floating in the water. Ogilvy UK created the film pro-bono for Greenpeace as part of a global campaign urging the UK public and supermarkets to limit the use of plastic packaging. It follows a Greenpeace petition calling on supermarkets to dramatically reduce their plastic footprint, which has been signed by nearly 380,000 people so far.
