Grey picked for PCCW expansion task

Beyond Interactive, the network's digital marketing division, will handle the account, billings for which are undisclosed.

The appointment was made withiut a formal pitch although PCCW executives saw credentials presentations from a number of unnamed agencies.

The company, which is developing a full range of broadband internet services, currently runs its above-the-line advertising through J. Walter Thompson and McCann-Erickson with Zenith handling media buying.

Grey will handle strategy, media buying and planning, creative work and data solutions for each of the business units within PCCW which recently completed the takeover of Cable & Wireless HKT.
