Grey Sydney loses senior directors

Paul Gardner, currently managing director of Grey Melbourne, will assume responsibility for the Sydney office and takes the new title, national managing director. Likewise Robert Dow, currently the executive creative director of Grey Melbourne, becomes national creative director and takes on creative responsibility for the Sydney agency. Both Gardner and Dow will spend substantial amounts of time Sydney.

Anderson, who leaves Grey after four years, is to become managing partner of a new marketing consultancy in which Grey plans to become majority shareholder.

British-born Platt, who has spent a decade in Australia, is to return to the UK to become creative director of J Walter Thompson Manchester.

Grey Sydney counts SmithKline Beecham, Zurich Insurance and Procter & Gamble among its clients.
