GSMA appoints Line Up and Creative Technology for MWC 2017

Agencies Line Up and Creative Technology have been appointed on a multi-year deal to deliver technical and production services for the GSMA Mobile World Congress (MWC) conference.

The mobile industry event will take place in Barcelona in 2017, marking its 12th year. Line Up and Creative Technology will be responsible for the technical and production services for the four-day conference programme, as well as the Ministerial Programme.

The two agencies will work together to bring a number of bespoke services, as well as core AV services. Line Up will oversee creative concepts, pre-production and onsite management support to the GSMA team. Creative Technology will focus on technical elements of the conference and Ministerial Programme using Apollo, its distributed PowerPoint manager, and its Mercury digital signage system. 

Intergrated Networks, a department of Creative Technology, will provide network infrastructure, including a converging event infrastructure using MediorNet technology plus the supply of comms and RF spectrum management aided by Creative Technology's newest acquisition, The Wireless Works.
